Terms of use

These terms of use cover graftermedia.co.uk, the Grafter Media website. They set out how you can use it. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

They are not our service agreement. If you become a client, we agree the work, the price and the notice period with you separately, in writing. These website terms never replace that agreement.

Grafter Media is a UK marketing agency for service businesses, based in Chelmsford, Essex. When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean the Grafter Media team. When we say "you", we mean anyone using the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page tells you when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new version.

You can use the site for lawful purposes only. In plain English, please do not:

• Try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or its booking form.
• Send us false details, or details that belong to someone else without their permission.
• Scrape, copy or resell our pages in bulk.
• Use the site to send spam, malware or anything unlawful.

We work hard to keep the site accurate and online, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or remove pages at any time without notice.

The information on our pages and in our marketing guides is general advice for service businesses. It is not legal, tax or financial advice. Your business is different, so check what applies to you.

You can book a free 20-minute call using the form on this site. To do that, you give us your name, mobile number, business name and, if you like, your website.

Booking a call is not a contract. It does not commit you to buy anything, and it does not commit us to work with you. On the call we find out about your business and tell you honestly whether ads suit you right now.

Please give us correct details so we can reach you. We use them to contact you about your enquiry and the call, as set out in our privacy policy. If you can no longer make your slot, tell us and we will happily move it.

Any work we do for you only starts once we have both agreed the scope and price in writing. Ad spend, where there is any, is paid directly to Meta or Google and is separate from our fees.

The text, design, graphics, mock-ups, photos and code on this site belong to Grafter Media or are used with permission. The Grafter Media name and logo are ours too.

You are welcome to view the site, share a link to a page, and quote a short extract with a clear credit and a link back to us. You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt our content or logo without our written permission.

The results screenshots come from our own ad accounts, and the testimonial belongs to the client who gave it. Please do not reuse them.

If you send us feedback or ideas through the site, you agree we can use them to improve our services without paying you or crediting you.

We show real figures from our own campaigns on this site, such as results from our roof-cleaning ads and the Ads Manager screenshots. These are our own historical results. They are examples of what happened for us, in our area, with our budget, on the dates shown.

They are not a promise, forecast or guarantee of what you will get. Results depend on many things, including your trade, your area, your prices, your budget, how quickly you answer enquiries and the market at the time.

Where a page mentions timings, such as being live within 7 days, that is what we usually do. It is not a guaranteed date.

Prices on our pricing page are guide "from" prices. Your quote is confirmed on the call and in writing before any work starts.

The site links to other websites and services, including our WhatsApp chat, our social profiles, and companies such as Meta and Google. These sites are not ours. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.

A link is not an endorsement. If you follow one, you do so at your own risk and under the terms of that site. Names such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Google belong to their owners, and we are not owned by or officially part of them.

Nothing in these terms limits anything the law does not allow us to limit. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Apart from that, and as far as the law allows:

• We provide the website and its content "as is". We do not promise it is complete, current or error-free.
• We are not liable for any loss caused by relying on the website content, including lost profit, lost business or lost data.
• We are not liable for problems caused by things outside our control, such as internet failures, third-party services or links on other sites.

These limits apply to your use of this website. Our responsibilities to clients are set out in the separate service agreement.

These terms, and any dispute about the website, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have the final say, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring a claim in your local courts.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
